The short version
Cue has no advertising cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. The cookies and browser storage we use are needed to sign you in or to remember a setting you chose. Because they are strictly necessary, or are features you asked for, the law generally does not require a consent banner, so we do not show one.
What we store on your device
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. Set only once you sign in. | Until you sign out, or the session ends |
cue-last-brand | Local storage | Reopens the brand you last worked in. | Until you clear it |
cue-presenter-layout | Local storage | Remembers how you sized the presenter screen. | Until you clear it |
cue-script-size | Local storage | Remembers your script text size. | Until you clear it |
cue-speech-on-device | Local storage | Remembers if you chose to keep your voice on this computer. | Until you clear it |
cue-captions-* | Local storage | Remembers whether captions are on for a talk. | Until you clear it |
cue-new-version-reload | Session storage | Reloads the app once after we ship an update. | Until you close the tab |
transformers-cache | Browser cache | Keeps the slide-matching model so it downloads only once. | Until you clear it |
Third parties
The website pages you can see without signing in make no requests to third parties: our fonts and images are served from our own site. Inside the app, slide screens load brand fonts from Google Fonts, and the talk and presenter screens download the matching model from Hugging Face and its engine from jsDelivr, so those services see your IP address. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to sign in. If you clear local storage, your screen settings go back to their defaults.
